Bath & Body Works; My Favourites!

Have you heard?!?!

Bath & Body Works has opened their 2nd outlet in Singapore!
Their first outlet was at Marina Bay Sands #B2-42,
and now there's a 2nd outlet at Takashimaya #B1-10/11!

*I know this post is slightly overdue, but as I have always loved their candles & their shower gels,
I thought I would give this brand a shout out!!

*This is not a sponsored post/advertorial.

I just simply adore their products!!

In the past, I used to ship my Bath & Body Works straight from the US.
& it was a pretty simple thing to do,
especially with forwarding companies like VPOST or Commgateway.
All you had to do was order from the US website, & indicate the Address given by the forwarding companies.
Pretty easy, and fuss free...

BUT!

I had issues with some of the candles that were shipped to me!

I had broken/shattered glass jars!

I had missing wicks in my 3 wicks candles. (All 3 were missing!)

AND... I COULDN'T DO A RETURN/ REFUND!
*This are real photos taken by me..

So imagine my happiness when Bath & Body Works opened here!

That means I could get easy access to all candles, without whatever issues happening to me
cos of the Return & Refund policy they have, and also I get to hand pick the ones I like & put it in my basket.

Here are some details about the brand etc!
Bath & Body Works is an American retail store under L Brands Umbrella.
It was founded in 1990 (a year older than me!) in Albany, Ohio & expanded to the US & Canada.
It specialises in shower gels, lotions, fragrance mists, perfumes, candles, and home fragrances.

From the whole range, I have personally tried their candles, shower gels, lotions, shower scrubs & handwash!

&&& of course, the signature has to be their candles!

This are some of my hauls & the flavours that I have tried from the brand!

& warning, I AM A HOARDER!

My most recent purchase from the Coastal Cool Collection!
Sunset Beach & Endless Weekend.
It was supposedly together with "The Turquoise Waters" that shattered..

Anyway Endless Weekend was a pure pleasure to light up in my room.
It was Summer when I started using this candle,
& the smell was just amazing & strong enough to fill my whole house.

Ingredients:
Raspberry lychee sorbet, sun-kissed magnolia and vanilla sandalwood.
*I'm smelling what is left of it, as I am completely burnt out of this one..

Scent:
Fresh, Clean, slightly floral with a hint of vanilla cream & fruit.

It is the total perfect scent for the Summer!

Sunset Beach on the other hand was uncomparable to Endless Weekend,
though still a pleasure to light.

Ingredients:
Pineapple, papaya & sugarcane.

Scent:
Citrus, fresh & warm.

My previous haul before the Coastal Cool collection.
*The Bloom was the one that came without the wicks.

I have only tried 2 out of the 5.
Stress Relief was also an OK one,
and the smell was only strong enough for the room.

Ingredients:
Eucalyptus & Spearmint

Scent:
Strong Eucalyptus & Spearmint.
I would say it got a little too overwhelming when burnt over hours.
A little nauseating for me.
But when burnt for a short hour or so, it was perfect.

& this were the mini candles & shower gels!
I love mini candles cos they look so adorable.

However, the intensity of their scents are pretty diluted & weak as they are one-wicked candles.

So those looking for stronger scents for their home, should try the 3 wick-ed ones.

My ultimate favourites would be the Island Margarita, Beach Cabana & Oceanside.
They were my first Bath & Body Works Candle.
& they were so so pleasant to burn.

The Island Margarita one was a very very fruity, citrus-y scent & happy scent.
Suitable for those that love heavy fruity scents.

While the Beach Cabana & Oceanside were more fresh, clean scents,
that somehow resembled scents from a holiday resort..

Moving on to shower gels..

My 1st favourite has got to be the Paris Amour Shower Gel, in which I brought it along with me on my graduation trip to Europe & have finished the whole bottle.
Got a 2nd bottle repurchased too!

From the web:
Top Notes: Sparkling Mandarin, Petite Strawberry, Cassis, Sparkling Pink Champagen,
Apple Blossoms, Dewy Freesia
Mid Notes: Luscious Peach, Jasmine Petals, French Tulips, Water Lily,
Frangipani
Dry Notes: French Vanilla, Coconut Milk, Amber Wood,
Sandalwood & Creamy Musk

This was just the perfect combination of fruity and floral.
It has a slightly flirty scent that is pretty feminine yet a tad mysterious & captivating.
And best of all, the range of shower gels are all infused with Shea Butter, Vitamin E & Aloe Vera.
Doesn't strip skin of moisture, and suitable for even sensitive skin like mine.

My 2nd favourite, is the Dark Kiss Shower Gel

Top Notes: Bergamot, Incense, Mirabelle Plum, Black Raspberry
Mid Notes: Amber, Burgundy Rose, Geranium, Peony
Dry Notes: Dark Vanilla Bean, Labdanum, Vetiver, Sensual Balsam, Musk

This scent is my favourite as it is fruity yet not over the top cherry.
It has a seductive, sensual note to it that adds a little mysterious feel.
Not the typical feminine scent, but oh so womanly.

If you are interested to smell the scents for yourself, feel free to drop by any of this 2 outlets,
and sniff them out yourself.
I simply love Bath & Body Works scents as their variety is crazy!

I would love to know your favourite scents too from the brand,
drop me a comment below or comment on my Instagram @clarabeltan.

& have a good weekend everyone!!
xoxo
