Types of Couples That All of Us HATE..

Happy Hump Day!!
Today's blog post will be on the types of couples, I utterly hate seeing or spending time with.
They could be my friends, family or just random strangers I see on the commute, or malls.
Yes, I have "Been there, done that" in a few of the following examples below.
So here's just a tip of how not to put people off in public, including friends!

#1.  P. D. A

For those of you that do not know what this stands for..
It stands for "Public Display of Affection".
It could range from the snogging, groping to the "Go get a room!" kind of situations.
I personally think this is something with a really fine line to define what is appropriate,
and what is not.
I guess it really depends on the situation, venue, instance, & people around.

If you make out in a club on a party night, I wouldn't judge.
It's a party night for a reason, & everyone's kind of in the mood & doing it.
BUT, do not snog for minutes to hours on hand, & stop with that groping or public fondling.
& yes, GO GET A ROOM!!

P.D.A is common, & I do not hate it or discourage it.
I mean, if you feel like showing your partner (& the world) that you simply love your partner alot,
go ahead.
But no when to stop, and not to put us people in an awkward situation, especially friends.
The trick is to do it mildly, never too overwhelming,
& if things get heated, stop whatever you are doing, & go somewhere private.

#2.  DRAMA MAMA (& PAPA)

I will put it out there first,
I used to be one of them.
Yes, one of them, and very guilty of it.

The Drama Mamas & Papas are just generally the type of couples you see publicising their relationships on all forms of Social Media.
Simply put- They post their dirty linen for all to see.
Their fights, arguments, quarrels, "Who cheated on who" kind of story line might somehow be entertaining & intriguing at the start.
But after awhile, it gets boring & irritating!
*Especially if you know both of them.*

Word spreads like fire on the Internet,
even if you are not famous or a celebrity to begin with.
Friends or acquaintances on your social media platforms would use you as their gossip material.
& that was what got me to stop.
I used to post my sob stories about relationships & what not on Facebook.
& every single time I quarreled with my ex, this would go back & forth on our walls.
For common friends of ours, I guess it was entertaining at first,
but then it got too painful to watch.

Girls usually fall prey to this bad habit,
cos we just needed that little bit of affirmation from our friends that we are not the ones at fault.
& C'mon, we all have to admit that it feels pretty good to be sided,
and have friends on your side to agree that person is a jerk/bitch.
But, let's just take a moment to just analyse this bad habit.
Does it do anything for us?
Does it make the situation better? Or worse?
& Do I really need to put it all out there, on the Internet?

The answer is NO.
So, if you ever do catch yourself doing something silly like that- STOP.
Take a breather, type it all out, post it if you like (BUT remove it 2 secs later).
Else, you'd be the talk of the town. (the laughing stock kind)

#3.  SUPER GLUE.

This is something I hate, especially if the girl or guy in the relationship is a super good friend.
The Super Glue couple is simply the couple that you will never see apart.
They are ALWAYS together.
They live together, some even work together, & they are ALWAYS in the same space,
breathing the same freaking air.
The kind of couple whom if you wanna get hold of, call the partner's phone.
He/She will definitely be there.

I have almost no issues with couples wanting to spend all their time together.
BUT, before he/she was in a relationship, he/she was my friend.
& we used to hang out alot.
So, I'd expect to get to spend time with my best friend, without having his/her's +1,
all the time!!
I don't usually hate the person's partner, or dislike them even..
Sometimes I am even glad I made a new friend, & of cos' happy that my bestfriend has found someone he/she likes..
But, give me my bro/sis back!!!!

#4.  The Too Perfect Couple

The last one is a couple that we all secretly hate.
Not hate, in a bad way..
But their relationship is so perfect that it makes us think twice about our own.

The guy is good looking, the girl is gorgeous.
They are super happy, & lovey dovey, & never ever quarrel.
If there was anything on their Facebook posts once every now & then,
ir usually are praises & love declarations or photos to one another.
They are just everything that we all want to experience, and be, while being in a relationship.

BUT, all couples have their problems.
Their problems could be hidden very well beneath the surface, shoved under a rug..
Or they could simply have very good mutual understnading, & tip top communication tricks.
So, don't hate them, but rather, look at them as role models.
Ask them how they achieved whatever they have.
Hear from them, analyse them, and see if  any of the pointers are worth to carry forward.

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
I hope you guys enjoyed my short relationship posts on the Types of Couples We All Hate.
It was a random inspiration after sighting some couples, and observing their actions,
especially in public.

Till my next relationship post,
stay positive & happy.

How To Ruin Your Relationship in 5 Simple Steps!

Hello lovelies.
Yes, you read that right!
Not 5 Simple Steps to better improve a relationship,
but rather the 5 Simple Steps to Ruin Your Relationship.
So avoid them as much as you can, or say bye bye to that relationship of yours.

The below 5 are the TOP 5 common mistakes I have made,
or seen other make.
So take note of them, and definitely do not do them..
UNLESS, you want to get rid of that special someone,
or simply end the relationship.

So let's begin!

#1.  Compare your partners with everyone else (Including that Ex-Girlfriend)

I think a lot of people know this one pretty well.
Never compare your current partner with the ex-girlfriend, friends, mother or family.
Just never compare them to anything & anyone.
UNLESS, it's a favourable one.
Like, "You cook as well as my mum!"

Example of unfavourable ones.
"Why ain't you as understanding as my ex-girlfriend?"
"Why can't you be a better cook, like my mum?"
"Why can't you be as buff & muscular as my ex?"
"Why can't you drive me around & spend more time with me, like John used to do.."

I would say that it is common for people to have benchmarks preset in their minds,
from their experiences with others.
But NEVER, EVER, say it out loud.
Heck, I won't even recommend you comparing anyone even if it's in your head.
Cos' it's just not fair.
Everyone is unique in their own ways & no one loves to be compared to someone better,
or be put down by their loved ones.

#2.  Nag or Grumble too much!

There's a thin life between complaining & grumbling incessantly,
reminding & nagging..
Men hate naggy women.
They get enough from their mothers & other older women in their family.
Generally, they would hate it if you did it too.
So remember, say it nicely in a pleasant tone & never say more than 2 times in a row.

#3.  Leash Them Real Close,

Nobody loves being suffocated.
Nobody loves having no personal space or no air to breathe.
This is something I always advocate in my relationships.
I am someone who values my own personal time & space, so this comes naturally for me.

Cut them loose at times.
Whether it is a trip to the mall with the girlfriends, for a shopping trip or pamper session.
OR a girls' night out.
OR a guys' night out watching soccer or heading to the bars.

Nobody likes to be stuck to someone 24/7,
and being refused of anytime with his or her friends.
Remember, before you appeared, those friends & activities were what he/she did & loved.
As long as it is healthy, let them go.

Being stuck together over prolonged periods of time causes conflict to arise.
So why not take a step back, and enjoy some alone time or time with your besties/buddies.

#4.  Keep Scores like in a Football Match

YES, a lot of us do this.
Especially the women, I'm not gonna side the female population.
Cos' even I know, I am guilty of this one.

Humans in general, forgive when other fault against them.
But it is very hard to forgive.
So... Talk it out completely once the situation occurs.
Clear it up, & sweep it under a rug.
& NEVER bring it up.

It gets tiring, & yes you feel it is necessary to bring it up,
cos it helps prove your point.
But imagine being thrown the same shit in your face.
It gets tiring to hear & say..
& it irritates everyone.
So don't bring up the past, cos no one likes to reminded of their mistakes,
even after months & years.

#5.   Cheat, like Love is Just A Game!

This is something I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE!
No one should ever cheat, while being in a relationship.

Relationships are sacred things that are fragile & delicate.
Once someone cheats in a relationship, the relationship is pretty much headed for doom.
When you cheat, you might think that your partner may never find out.
But deep down, you are plagued with guilt and some anger towards your self.
*That is, if you even love your partner at all!*

& what I observed from people around me is that,
once someone cheats, it is very unlikely that will be his first & only time.
Not only with you, but even with the next partner they have.
Cos' somehow with every cheating that lies undiscovered,
it is a certain motivation to cheat even more.
& some people do like the thrill of it. (Sick Bastards..)

I never do see a need to cheat.
You know how badly it will hurt your loved one.
So why do it?
I'd rather end the relationship there & then once I've gotten tempted to even think about cheating.

So if you love & cherish your partner and the relationship,
never commit the 5 mistakes above!

What else do you think will ruin a relationship?
Share with me in the comments section!

In the meantime, have a great week ahead!

What Women Really Want: 10 Traits That A Man Should Have

It's finally the weekends!! TGIF!
I am so glad that my 2 previous posts on relationships were so well received by my readers..
Thank you for reading them, & it really means a lot to me.
Of course, *disclaimer* I do not think of myself as a relationship guru or anything of that sort.
I just want to share my two cents worth, & also try out a different genre with regards to content!
Therefore, I decide to do an article related to relationships & the opposite sex,
once a week if possible.
I hope you guys will enjoy reading them, and feel free to leave me your feedback!

What do Women really want?
I guess all men are puzzled by this question..
Cliché as the saying goes,
"Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus".
I guess the saying really just means that we are built differently right from the start of time.
Whether it is our bodies, our emotional capacity, how our brains function & perceive things differently...
So, how do we understand the opposite sex?
Is it really through time & effort that we are able to understand our partner,
or the general female population?
I guess all I can say is that, women are generally the same in certain aspects.
HOWEVER, since NOBODY is exactly the same,
my content does not capture the entire female population & what they think.
So, read with an OPEN MIND.

1. A GOOD HEART

I guess what I meant by "A Good Heart", is just a summary of traits.
Kind, Caring, Compassionate, Sincere.
Women all want a man who can be our best friend, our soul mate, our listening ear.
We don't really deal well with stress or emotional issues whether at work or at home,
therefore we do need you to hear our problems out.
And just well, let us off load some weight that were on our shoulders.
A little compassion for the old, sick, elderly, poor, or even compassion to animals would really add a brownie point or two, to your score.

2. HONESTY- NOT TOO MUCH OF IT

Women all want to know the truth.
But most of the time, we can't handle the truth.
& guess what. we do know that.

But why do we want honesty?
I guess women just don't want to be lied to about important matters.
She wants to be involved, and be informed of the things happening around her man,
be it unpleasant or pleasant experiences & memories.
Also she just doesn't want him to think that he has to lie..
Because when he does, it usually means he is doing something wrong or making poor choices.
However,
Brutal honesty is not wanted.
This is as far as honesty should go..
If she asks you if she looks good in a new outfit, thread lightly.
Compliment the good positive points, and skim the negative parts gently.
Probably suggesting a better outfit choice that you think she looks good in will allow you to escape, unharmed.
& if she asks if she is fat or has gained weight..
Always compliment her first, & tell her that you love her for who she is.
Also, suggest to her that if she is really concerned, you two could hit the gym together.
What's better than some quality time spent at the gym?
It is an opportunity to bring you two closer together, and looking good together,
with each others' motivation!

3. BRAINS

Intelligence is sexy.
No, I am not talking about technology terms, or boring scientific facts etc.
I am talking about being able to converse and engage in an intellectual conversation.
It could be a funny scientific fact, or the latest news etc.
Women love to learn.
We take pride in learning something new everyday.
& we just find it sexy if our guy is smarter than us!
Look, men love good looking women.
But dumb ones do get on their nerves sometimes.
It is the same for women.
Superficial looks will fade with time, but the brains that the man have will not.

4. SENSE OF HUMOUR (NOT LAMENESS)

Being funny draws a woman to a man, same goes for the man too actually.
Women have always loved a man with a good sense of humour & wit.
If you can make your woman laugh, you have already won more than half the battle.
Or her heart, for that case.
But beware, some men do not get the difference between being humorous & just being plain lame.
We do not enjoy crude jokes, or the kind of jokes that you and your bros/boys will joke about.
A simple sense of humour, with wit & intelligence, will blow our minds away.

5. CONFIDENCE (NOT OVER CONFIDENCE)
Women usually struggle with confidence issues as we are thrown in a realistic world of supermodels.
However, we do love a man who is confident about himself and his body.
When a man is confident, his actions show it, and we are naturally drawn to it.
Think about it.
Why do good looking jerks or even average looking jerks get the girls most of the time.
It is not entirely about the good looks, or even the bad boy image.
It is also about the confidence they exude.
They know what they want, and how they can achieve it.
That kind of confidence always makes a girl swoon.
Be confident, & be who you are.
HOWEVER, over confidence is a total turn off.
I have met so many guys who think they are the biggest fucks in the world.
Boys remember, moderation is key.
Be confident, yet modest, and believe me, the girls will come flocking.

6. PRESENTABLE

Nope, I am not asking you men to be decked in head to toe luxury goods,
but just being presentable and decent looking is the key to making the right impression.
Women all love a men who take a little more effort to dress up for an occasion.
Ditch the slippers once in awhile, put on a clean, fresh shirt and do without your comfy berms once in a while.
Oh yes, my pet peeve.
Facial hair & blemished skin.
For men who has been complimented on your facial hair, go for it!
Keep your moustache or beard or a goatee for all you want.
Just make sure it makes you look good, and not looking like a beggar.
& for men who tend to have blemishes, do take extra effort in cleansing your skin.
A good & basic effort at cleansing your skin everyday really does make a difference.
Add on a moisturizer, or even sunblock etc if you are not the lazy sort.

7. LOYALTY

Men & women alike, we all want to be special to that special someone.
Our competitive nature is inbuilt in us.
We all want to be unique and better than the rest.
Women wants a man who sees the world in her.
Yes, her & only her.
Eyes only for her.
Women all know that she is not the best in the world.
Not the world's prettiest, smartest, sexiest..
We are definitely not delusional, we do not need that.
All we need is for the man in our life to think of us as the best in his world.
And that is all we need.

8. THOUGHTFULNESS

Women just simply love men who pay the extra attention to our likes & dislikes,
and even sometimes the things we say on a daily basis.
We love being taken to our favourite restaurants, eating our favourite food etc.
We just love actions that show you actually care.
So next time, bring your woman out to her favourite place, bring her some flowers,
or just do her favourite activity or hobby together with her.
Believe me, this will give you a high score on her list, anytime..

9. SECURITY- Physical & Financial

You don't have to be a millionaire or someone ultra rich.
Or maybe you do, if you decide to choose someone who only loves you for your riches.
What women are looking for in a men is just plain security where they feel protected & provided.
This is however a very subjective gauge in terms of financial wise.
Have a chat with your significant woman in your life,
and see what she wants for herself, her future & her family for a clearer picture.
You'd be surprise how many women just want the basic roof over her head,
food on the table everyday, & maybe an extra few things here & there.
Physical wise, women all want to feel protected.
From physical harm & danger.
Therefore never be the one putting those two words in her life.

10. UNDERSTANDING

She wants you to know her inside out.
That will then mean that you can love her for who she really is..
With that understanding, there will be no misconception or misunderstandings.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
That is all for my article on the 10 traits that a man should have..
Thought pretty simplistic, I hope it gives a good summary of some important traits
that we women are looking out for in our man.
Ladies, feel free to comment on what traits you are looking for, that I did not mention,
in my comment space below.
Till the next blog post, xoxo

5 Types of Men that You Will Meet in Your Love Life!

Since my previous blogpost "Uh-Oh! Bad Romance? How to Get the Hell Out?!" went up,
I've gotten a lot of views and positive comments, especially from my friends.
Therefore I decided to do a few more pieces on well, relationships, and generally the opposite sex.
*** If you have not read that post yet, read it here:

Moving on..
As you can tell from the title, here's my version of the
"5 Types of Men that You Will Meet in Your Love Life!"

*Disclaimer: This are purely my thoughts or the kinds of men that I have met in my life.
It will not and I do not assume an exact replica for all.
And some men in your life, might just be a combination of 2 or more!

1. The Childhood Sweetheart!
*not much of a Man*

Yes, the childhood sweetheart could be one of your first loves.
The one in which you think about when you look back at your past,
reminiscing the younger & more carefree days.
It usually happens when you were much younger- as a teen, or maybe a young adult.

Things were simpler back then, and so was the relationship.
Everything was much simpler to understand and express.
but still filled with the occasional drama, tears, and of course, laughter & happiness!

The one that we first naively thought we wanted to marry,
though with no clue of how scary, stressful and problematic the real world could be.
A period of innocence, and a phase of discovering ourselves through the help of that special someone.
& probably that particular relationship was the one that showed us how much love we were capable of.

Ahhh... I've always envied friends who married their childhood sweetheart after so many years.
It really tells a lot about the relationship.
The stable foundation- the trials & tribulations that the couples went through together over the years,

There might be some of you who have had more than one.
Lucky you too!
Cos' you learn much more than the rest, during that innocent phase of love.
.

However, some "childhood sweetheart" relationships do end.
Some was because of distance- moving away, going to college/army, or just drifting apart.
For whatever reasons. childhood sweethearts have always been difficult for many to forget.

2. The Regret

Yes, most of us have dated this type of Men.
The ones we look back and ask ourselves, "What was I thinking?!?"

They are not the typical kind of men that we have dated throughout our life.
Not when we were younger, & definitely not when we were more mature.
They could take a few different forms: The good for nothings, the destructive ones in your life etc.

I myself have met both I mentioned above.
Yes, BOTH!
I remembered a phase of my life where I consciously ignored my parents' advice,
and went ahead to date them.
& now I could clearly see why my mother advised me against it,
and how I would give my daughter the same advice.

The good for nothings were the ones that were wasting their youth/life.
The Rebels are what I call them.
They mixed with bad company, got in trouble with the law, smoked, partied, drank alcohol
(mostly underage),
BUT we hung out with them, cos we thought they were cool,
and we were therefore absorbing their "coolness" too.
*admit it.. everyone had those kind of days*

& yes, the destructive ones.
I have actually been through 2 such relationships in my life.
Both were well, abusive- mentally, verbally, emotionally & physically.
The ultimate regret.
They were the ones who tore your pride, ego, esteem into pieces,
and made you feel like you were worth nothing.
You would cry for days, feeling miserable, & if you were lucky, not sink into depression,
or do anything stupid.
Sad to say, I still have friends who are in relationships like this at the moment.
Even though they are not in their teens now.

They can only treat you that way if you allow them to.
Unless you love yourself a little more, and value yourself a little more..
Stand up for yourself and for what you are worth!
You are human too, and someone's little girl.

One should always know that no one can make you feel inferior, unless you allow them to.

3, The Ultimate Jock/ Jerk

This is one of the most common ones.
They are also everywhere on our sitcoms, and our drama series.

The ones with the muscles, the looks..
The ones that all girls want & throw themselves at.

Actually, I haven't dated many of this kind.
A few that are pretty similar to the characteristics, yes maybe..
Probably because, I can't date a guy who cannot hold a decent intellectual conversation with me.
I guess a relationship is definitely more than just superficial good looks.

Anyway some characteristics of our Jorks/Jerks!

Firstly, they are good looking.
Ok, maybe not drop dead hot like Channing Tatum etc,
Else girl..
I will tell you to go for it, even if the relationship lasts a day.
*haha*

Secondly, they are not very well developed in the brains department.
I mean God is fair, isn't he.

Thirdly, they are egoistic and overflowing with pride & self righteousness,
and can never stand a girl questioning them about their whereabouts etc.
& I guess they are usually only with the ones who look good on their arm.

If you meet this type of men, run at all cost.
Don't waste your time, cos they can't offer you much life lessons or experience from the relationship.
& the relationship will be as shallow as their brains are.

*Though I'm not saying to avoid all muscular & good looking men.
BUT just choose wisely, see how sincere he is, and how much "brains" has God bless him with.

4. The Mr. (Too) Nice Guy
but maybe just too nice for our liking..
Yes, women all complain that all the nice guys are taken, or are dead.
But well, ladies, here is something for you.
We just don't like Mr (Too) Nice Guys!
Most of them have even been friend-zoned by you. the moment you got acquainted.

500 days of Summer

I, myself have this problem & complaint.
But I guess the Mr. Nice guys somehow can be a little too overwhelming for us.
We do love to be pampered and be treated like a princess/queen,
but not all the time!
We want to be told when we are stepping on your tail, or just being out of line..
And who doesn't love that streak of rebellious attitude/character?

But ladies, if you are really looking for someone to settle down with.
No nonsense, no lies, no cheating & betrayal..
Maybe it is time to consider the Mr Nice Guys who will treat you right.

5. The Prince Charming!

Yes, Mr Prince Charming where have you been?
Every single and available ladies are looking for you..

Though I've gone through countless failed attempts at a decent and long-lasting relationship,
I still have hopes that one day I will find my Prince Charming.

For those who have found yours, my sincerest Congratulations.
To those, like me, who have not..
Persevere, keep your eyes wide open, hearts wide open & you will find him one day.
If you do, remember to grab hold of him tight & never do anything that will take that away.

That's all for now!
Feel free to leave me comments below on the types of issues etc you might want me to write on!

xoxo <3!

Uh-Oh! Bad Romance? How To Get the Hell Out?!

As you can tell from the title, this blog post is something different from the norm.
I usually write about Beauty & Makeup related blog posts, with a bit of Lifestyle posts here & there.

However, recently...
I've been seeing many friends of mine in a relationship wreck,
and I've been through that too.
So this is just some ways in which I have used or some advice that could be helpful,
to all you troubled people out there..

*Disclaimer: I am not a love doctor, a know-it-all.
I'm just sharing what works for me, and what I hope will work for you too.

To me, ALL relationships have ups & downs-
be it relationships with family, friends or that special someone.
However, no relationship is entirely shitty.
I mean, no matter how lousy your partner is, or how bad they treat you,
you will always remember the good times.
Small actions, sweet words, or just quiet time spent together.

But what if you decided that you had enough & don't want to be stuck in that rut anymore?
Do you leave? Do you stay?
& if you leave, do you have the courage to stay that way?
Or would you crawl back to your partner, eventually.

One phrase that I used to repeat to myself-
"It's Okay to Move On."
This was a mental note that I followed & I left 2 previous unhealthy relationships,
that were no good for me.
They did come crawling back, and begging for forgiveness.
But this line, just spoke to me-
& I held my ground.

Some relationships were developed out of convenience, proximity, chemistry or loneliness.
But all this points, could never secure a relationship.
In other words, the relationship is bound to fail.
We need more than the physical presence of somebody to hold up a meaningful relationship.
But we routinely and stubbornly keep people who are sometimes no good for us,
just cause well, they are already around..
So, why not?

Whereas some stay in relationships just cause it is easier to stay in them..
Than to make and create new relationships.
But at the end of the day, holding on to a relationship takes effort too.
So, ain't that the same?
Isn't it better to find someone who is in a relationship with you, that actually adds value to it?

Also. Humans are creatures of Habit.
We do most things out of habit.
For example, myself.
I am not a hardcore smoker, neither a social smoker.
But.. Sometimes I smoke cos that's what I do everyday when I wake up,
when I'm bored &
when I'm about to go to sleep.
I don't need the nicotine kick at the time.
But- if I don't give in to that annoying urge, I feel weird.

That is the same for some relationships.
We refuse to let go of someone dear, even if they were just destroying us with every passing minute-
Just cos' we are so used to them being there.
And without them, we THINK we are nothing but an empty shell.

Or maybe, you are just "ADDICTED".

I took this paragraph off the Internet:

Are You Addicted?

Listed below are several signs of addiction. Consider whether they apply to you:
Even though you know the relationship is bad for you (and perhaps others have told youthis), you take no effective steps to end it.

You give yourself reasons for staying in the relationship that are not really accurate or that are not strong enough to counteract the harmful aspects of the relationship.

When you think about ending the relationship, you feel terrible anxiety and fear which make you cling to it even more.

When you take steps to end the relationship, you suffer painful withdrawal symptoms, including physical discomfort, that is only relieved by reestablishing contact.

Address the problem

You can try to address the problem by speaking to someone- friends, family or medical help.
Or you can even write it out to work through all your issues.

* The number of times you argued about the issue
& What issues did you two  argue about
* Who was the instigator
* The reasons why you are staying in this relationship
* 20 things you like or love about your partner
* Things you dislike or hate about your partner
& Does your partner abuse you in any form- Verbal, Emotional, Physical?

Reasons for staying should be about Love or Stability of the family.
It should never be about finances or even fear.

***& the point on abuse should be non-existent on your list, if it is there, seek professional help!

Some advice to note:

Keep Yourself Occupied.

It's way more difficult than said.
I have tried it myself..
Even went on long trips overseas just to get my mind away from the issue,
& body far away from that person.

But still, try.
Go for long walks,
Clean the house, pack your clothes.
Just get your mind off the issue.
Mopping over your emotions would only make you feel worse.

Talk to someone. don't keep it all in.

Ranting it out to a friend or seeking medical & professional advice helps one to take the load off one's chest/ shoulder.
It is something that people tend to neglect, which actually does help a person alot in dealing with stress or relationship issues especially.

Surround Yourself with Friends.

Go out in a group, or with your girls/guys- company always makes one better.
Go party, let the loud music drown your thoughts out.
Go exercise and exhaust yourself to prevent those late night emotional thoughts.
Go sign yourself up for a new hobby or a healthy activity.
Travel if you can afford to. This is the best time for self-discovery.
Go out and date (ONLY if you are ready)

Generally, use distractions to your advantage!
& give yourself time.
Loads & loads of time.

Cliche as it sounds, time does really heal those wounds.
Even if it doesn't. it helps numb the pain.

Always remember this:

It’s OK to move on.
You owe it to yourself to move on.
You owe it to yourself to be happy with the relationships you have.
You are in control.
Moving on is sometimes the only way to develop new, empowering relationships. Starting anew, empty-handed and full-hearted, you can build fresher, stronger, more supportive relationships—important relationships that allow you to have fun and be happy and contribute beyond yourself. These are the meaningful relationships we all need.

I hope whatever that I shared in this post, would be able to help some troubled people out there.
We've gone through tough and dark times, We all have..
It is how we use them to make us better and stronger, that matters.
I sincerely hope that those in the dark now, will eventually see the light,
and step out of that rut.
